History records these as the first words exchanged between future Dusty Fingers co-owners Dario and Dale sometime in the winter of 2012, thereby fulfilling the legacy that an old blind woman had whispered into the ear of Dennis Hopeless before dying - "And lo, something you write shall spawn a great wickedness." Dario, who was horribly old then and is beyond the ability of numbers to quantify now, hailed from the UK and was steeped in the great tradition of the British comic writers of the 1980s, while Dale, a Californian fop with the attention span of a golden retriever on cocaine, grew up in the equally illustrious tradition of early Nineties Marvel. At the time, they were both neck-deep in a breakneck attempt to fill in their growing personal collections, when they had the idea that so many comic collectors had before them - why not buy collections, keep what they needed for their own sets, and then sell the rest to make back what they had spent? On January 19, 2017, they bought their first haul off of an individual recorded in the historical record as Some Guy From Alameda. At that moment a new dynasty was born, and Dusty Fingers rose from an informal hobby to a Legitimate Business Concern in 2020, dedicated to bringing customers some of history's greatest graphic stories safely and quickly with the much-beloved bombproof packaging that has kept them at a 100% rating on EBay.
